When you think of America’s Heartland, you
probably envision vast fields of growing corn and soybeans. Sustainable crops to feed America or
poisonous foods to supply Big Ag and our own Government with money? Did you know that 90% of those crops are
grown with genetically modified seeds? Yes! Corn and soybeans are grown with insecticides
bred into them! BT toxin and Round Up
are genetically bred into seeds used to feed livestock as well as
ourselves.
BT
Toxin: a dangerous insecticide that once ingested by
insects attaches to its gut and destroys it from the inside.
RoundUp:
this is the same stuff you use to kill weeds. The Label reads: “Hazardous to humans and domestic
animals”.
When crops are sprayed with RoundUp, workers
wear masks and suits so as not to ingest or inhale this poison. However it is okay, by US law to be
genetically bred into your food.
So who
is responsible for this?
By now I’m sure you’ve heard of the Monsanto
Corporation. The Monsanto Corporation
has been producing seeds for crops since 1946 and is now the largest producer
of genetically modified seeds in the world.
Recently signed into US law by President
Obama and written by the Monsanto Corporation itself was H.R. 933 also known as
the Monsanto Protection Act. In short,
it requires the USDA to approve the harvest and sale of crops from genetically
modified seed even if a court has ruled against the crop as being dangerous to
public safety or the environment.
This puts Monsanto above the law!
Promises, Promises
So who else is responsible?
In 2007 a promise was made, “If elected
president…..I will let folks know if their food is genetically modified because
Americans should know what they are buying.”

To this date, ignoring the people’s vote, no
such legislation has been passed to label foods that contain genetically
modified ingredients.
Why? It’s probably because Monsanto lobbied $12
million to congress just last year. Your
government is experimenting with your health for money. If Monsanto needs a bill passed to protect
them from litigation, then they must know what they are doing is illegal.
Stand up for your rights and health! Buy Non-GMO seeds and grow your own!
